Hello all,

I'm having a bit of an issue over setting a dimension. See this picture.



I cannot get the dimension unstuck when I create it. There is no reason for me to leave it that close. How do I change this?

you should just be able to click the dimension & drag the text of the dimension to an alternate preferred location

I certainly can, sure. But I want to be able to do that by default. Drawings I work on are loaded enough as it is, if I have to drag them out as I make them, it will be too much of an annoyance.

format > Dimension Styles > Modify > Fit > Text placement -> Checkmark Over dimension line, with leader
format > Dimension Styles > Modify > Fit > Fine tuning -> Checkmark Draw dim line between ext lines

If this is impossible to do with Nanocad, well, just say so.

format > Dimension Styles > Modify > Fit > Fine tuning -> Place text manually
