DWG From AutoCAD - Cant Edit Notes

I have a DWG file from AutoCAD and I have several objects that I cannot edit or delete. They are notes with leaders. When I highlight these Objects they are listed as "Proxy-entity"
How can I make it so I can edit or delete these items?

what version of nanoCAD do you use?
