Cursor movement very jerky with XREF

I'm looking for an alternative to AutoCad and decided to test this. All is pretty good except that mouse movement is very jerky and lagging when I'm in a drawing with an XREF. In the actual file for the referenced drawing it is smooth. I have a AMD Firepro W7000 on Win 10 machine with i7 processor. I've tried the various OpenGL settings with no improvement.

what version do you use?
Check the file of XREF by Drawing utilities, maybe it has some problems.
Try to switch off the snap.
Also it would be helpful if you could send us your files - drawing and xref.
