Its all gone wrong this end...

My CAD system has gone haywire it seems.
I have been working on my laptop whilst I rejig my office space. Its a Sony Vaio with 4Gb Ram and seems to have been quite happy running the uncomplicated 2D drawings I do.
Suddenly though its stopped working, on starting NanoCAD the screen resolution automatically goes to 600xsomethingorother. When I finally get it loaded at the proper resolution none of the icons along the menu display and I can't seem to get any of the commands to work.
I have tried to 'Repair' the software and have Uninstalled and reInstalled it and that hasn't helped.
I have updated the graphics driver, that hasn't helped.
I'm out of ideas now, help!
Will :-(
