Hello Julia,
check background color in Options - it seems that you set red, change it to another color.

I'm having the same problem, it happens while using a command. It changes from normal background color(black) and then flashes to red. It then goes away after a regen, but it happens again a little while later.

try to change graphic settings: Tools - Options - Graphic Settings - OpenGL/DirectX.
Don't forget to restart nanoCAD then.
