Huge size of plot files

Hello,
When we send a plot to the printer, NANOCAD creates a plot file with a huge size, which takes a long time to print. Sometimes it overflows the printer and the process has to be stopped.
This does not happen if we use AUTOCAD (for the same file).
Is there anything we could do to avoid this problem?

what version of nanoCAD do you use? What printer?
Do you use Plot to a file option?
