Georeferenced raster images and GIS

enep pene's Photo enep pene 05 Feb 2015

I would like to know if there is support for importing georeferenced rasters ?
That correlates to the functionalities in AutoCAD Map.

Specifically, I am looking for:

- open TIFF/ECW/GeoTIFF with corresponding WORLD files (*.tfw,*.wld, *.eww) and as a result loaded image has a proper coordinates

Thanks,

Nesh

Hello Nesh,

open nCad.cfg from c:\Program Files\Nanosoft\nanoCAD en 5.0\
Then find there the section:
[\PrefTree\Colors\LayoutBackground]
......

and place under this section the following:
[\PrefTree\Georeferencing]
Section=sGIS |IFace=sIProfile | Image=i8
Description=sGIS Settings
Name=sGIS Settings

[\PrefTree\Georeferencing\UseWorldFile]
Key=sUseWorldFile |Type=sCheck |Default=f1
Description=sAllow World (or TAFF) file usage when insert raster images
Name=sUse World or TIFF file

Then clear registry: run Regedit and delete 5.0 from HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Nanosoft\nanoCAD Int.
Run nanoCAD, check tick Use World or TIFF from Tools - Options - GIS settings

Ellen-Ch , thank you very much. It works.
I have win xp. when "run noanocad" (after the above corrections) asked for a *.msi file (from the before-virgin installation). I had deleted the sub, so i unistalled thw nanocad, i installed it again, i made all the above procedure, adn it is ok.
Thanks again.

Hello,
I would like to know if there is support, which allows creating objects in world coordinate systems (including the coordinate system PL-2000)?
If yes, I have two more questions if there is support, which allows to export dwg file to shapefile? And: is there possibility to add geographical reference in proper coordinate system (e.g. PL-2000) to raster (without georeferences) to get GeoTIFF?

Thanks.
