Dash Lines not showing up

Jason Hubbell's Photo Jason Hubbell 17 Nov 2014

I actually have two questions. For the record I'm using NanoCAD 5 on a machine with Windows 7 installed.

First, my dashed lines aren't showing up. I've created a dash line type (Format -> Style). I've adjusted the Dash from 0,0.25 to everything inbetween 0,5.0 and none of them show up. The dash line doesn't show up in any of the viewports nor the model space. Am I doing something wrong or is there a fix you can recommend?

Second, I use to use NanoCAD 3.5(I think that was the version) and I recall being able to plot to PDF. Is that no longer an option in NanoCAD 5? If not what options are there so that I might produce pdf versions of my drawings?

Hello Jason,

first, check the scale of drawing. Increase zoom, draw the line manully. Decrease zoom, draw the line again. Do you see dash line?

second, in nanoCAD 5 you can't plot to internal PDF. But you can install another PDF printer (for example, Bullzip PDF printer).

I have zoomed in and out with no change. There is still a continuous line instead of a dash line.
