Poor lineweight on PDF

Rita Barriles's Photo Rita Barriles 27 Jan 2024

I'm using Nanocad on Windows 10. When saving a copy to PDF, the lines are rough and distorted. Could it be related to hardware acceleration or it's an incompatibility between CAD programs? I'm using Nanocad 5.0.

Hello Rita,
Are you using "Microsoft Print to PDF" plotter?
Is in "Preview..." section lines are the same as in resulting pdf document?
What values of "Line Weight" and "Linetype Scale" are in "Inspector"?

Hello.
I'm using PDF Creator and Bullzip.
In "Preview", section lines are the same as in resulting pdf document.
Inspector: Line Weight = By Layer, Linetype Scale = 1

Can you try to print your drawing into PDF with NanoCAD plot command (or Ctrl+P)?
Change printer here to "Microsoft Print to PDF" and then click "Plot".

Microsoft Print do PDF: The print quality is worse than using other printers, in addition to not allowing customized sheet formats.

Do you create this file in nanoCAD or is it from another program?
You can try to edit it with nanoCAD Platform, there is free trial for a month and you don't have to delete your nanoCAD 5 to try nanoCAD platform.
