Union Command, unable to select 2 objects
Breandán Murray 15 Jan 2024
Hi
When I attempt to use the union command on 3D objects, despite selecting 2 objects nanocad responds as if I've not selected 2 objects, and fails to combine the 2 objects.
I've reset nanocad settings and reboothed several times, and attemtpoed this action many times without success.
Any tips would be greatly apprecaited.

Can you, please, check in what mode your platform is: multiple or single selection?
In function panel properties (if you don't have one, just call command "properties", i.e. type it in Command line at the bottom of work space and click Enter) look at the left top corner.
Here you'll see two icons with arrows.
If single arrow selected, then you have single selection mode and it might be the reason of your issue, if arrow with "+" sign selected - then mode when multiple multiple selection works.
One more to check: when you're selecting the object in properties panel you can see it's type, for example - solid. Can you please, check, if both objects, you're selecting, are solids?

Thank you for taking the time to explain this to me, I checked the sinlge / multiple selection setting and it was sinhgle.
I think the issue was because I was using Meshes as opposed to Direct.
Thanks agin for you help
