3D constaint - Mate - Selecting the other...

When constraining 2 planes. Is there a way of selecting the other side of a plane?
I cannot get the selected plane arrow to point the other way.

Have you tried changing OSNAP and O3D SNAP (clear what is redundant and select only needed objects to snap)?
