Good day All
New here. So far I'm enjoying the Nanocad Trial.
I'm Engineering Surveyor and work with point clouds to create as-built conditions of construction.
At this point my only issue is with the sectional views on point clouds. It would've been very helpful to be able to shift the section/clip view on the fly and not have to recreate the damn thing everytime I need to see higher or lower within the point cloud. What I'm having to do now is to draught pre positioned lines throughout the entire point cloud to snap the clip to. To give an example of my frustration, currently working on a property with 5 separate industrial buildings on, each with a different floor height as the site is sloped. This is really a deal breaker and I would recommend the development team look at this for the next update of the software.
I did however see in a video that Nanocad 3D Scan has some option like this. Where can I find a trial of 3D Scan?
