Measurement / Symbol Scales

David_Parker's Photo David_Parker 26 Jun 2022

After some confusion I understand the concept now but it would seem I am limited to the scales set within the menu?

Problem with this is I am trying to use 1:25 to fit my drawings onto one sheet but for dimensioning it is causing me limitations.

Seems I can work around this by dimensioning in VP model space and proceeding to using chspace command.

Is there no way to edit the measurement and symbol scale list like there is for the drawing scales list?

Hello.
Call command: PARAMS
In appeared window open: "Main options" -> "Design"
There you can input in "Drawing scale" (which is "Symbol scale actually) or in "Model scale" (which is "Measurement scale) required value "1:25". You can input is as it is.

That did the trick as well thank you. Much easier than my work around!

But would be even better to be able to edit the measurement and symbol scale list directly from the tab at the bottom of the window.
