Unable to Paste blocks

Unable to copy and paste (some) blocks.
Block was created a few minutes earlier in the same session using ctrl+shift+c then ctrl+shift-v, nothing special about it, just a few dozen primitives and 3 dynamic arrays
No layers are locked, frozen or turned off.
Tried running the Audit command, 1681 errors found and fixed, but nothing changes.
Attempting to open the block editor crashes nanocad.
Nanocad x64, 21.0.5797.3451 build 5851, just the base nanocad
