Library Object Insertion issue

Hi,
I am new to nanocad construction.
I'm having an issue when i insert an object from the construction library where the object i'm inserting will be ridiculously big. For example I'm drawing a floorplan for a 26 foot by 40 foot house, when i insert a "window" from the library it is 75 feet long by 11feet wide, obviously much bigger than my canvas. Another example is a stove inserts at 36feet wide by 46feet long.
Any ideas on how I can fix this?
