inquiry tool - not displaying measures

Hello!
I ran into a problem when measuring a 3d dwg. drawing in nanocad plus.
sometimes the inquiry tool does not display measures.
if it works, it looks like this :
if it does not, then actual measure is not displayed.
is there something i need to configure ?
is this an error when working with files not created in nanocad ?
