'Hollow' Polylines?

Gavin Phillips's Photo Gavin Phillips 09 Nov 2020

Hello,

I need some help with plotting polylines. For some reason, when I plot a drawing, polylines that have been assigned a width plot 'hollow'. How can I stop this from happening? Ideally the curve in the image attached should be continuous and a solid colour - it shows as expected in NanoCAD but appears hollow when plotted. Thank you for any help.

Hi,
what version of nanoCAD do you use? What is your printer? Where was the drawing file created?
Check FILLMODE variable, it should be 1, check the Shade plot option in Plot dialog, check current visual style.

Do you have a shape file associated with this linetype?

I am using NanoCAD 5.0, I've used both Microsoft PDF printer and Bullzip, the original file was created in AutoCAD, FILLMODE = 1, the shade plot option is greyed out and visual style set to 2D wireframe, though changing it does not make a difference to the plotted result.

I am just using the continuous line type.

As a sanity check, I opened the same file in AutoCAD and it plotted as expected. Any other ideas?

I have the very same problem here. Nanoca 5.0. Some text, polylines and lines object print hollow (not filled). It affects only objects in paper space.
