imported dwg showing random colors for text
BIG O 26 May 2020
my drafter sent me some files in dwg format. in the pdf he sent along , everything is black. when I open it in nanocad its greens, reds and yellows.
I try to change the layer colors and most times it helps but there is always some text that will not change color.
so.
1. how can I change this text that wont change to black
2. is there a quick way to change ALL colors to simply black, instead of changing it layer by layer? it has more than 50 layers. thanks

I mostly figured it out. to change all layers to black
go to format / layers
highlight all the layers. click one color box to change it .
it changes the color of ALL highlighted layers.
the box that wouldnt change is a text box so you have to edit the text itself and change the color.
I still have a few yellow text items I havent figured out how to change.
thanks

And yes for the layers ...,
the colors of entities, entities by layers, blocks by layers, child blocks on layer 0 or not ...
There are multiple solutions for some , which become problems for others.
