Unable to explode block
Adam Maoz 21 Apr 2020
Hi,
I'm trying to use NanoCAD to explode a block, but no block is recognized. However, when I double click the block, it does enter a referral editing mode for that block. What am I doing wrong?
I've attached the relevant file for reference.
Thanks,
Adam

Hi,
Try this
Add refedit toolbar (right click anywhere on toolbar / nanocadToolbars / select refedit
At refedit toolbar select / edit external references
Then you will be able to use explode
When finished use save and close external reference editing from refedit toolbar

No, it doesn't really help.
When I enter refedit, the elements seem separated and "exploded" and I can indeed use explode on them, but when I save and exit the editing of the refedit and click and piece, it seems "whole" again, as a block.
Any other ideas?

Hello,
look the Properties-Obect type : Insert
save as dxf V11, close and open
look the Properties-Obect type : Block
You can edit and explode.
It is a typical object of external application (Covadis for example) which are very difficult to handle without the application.
It looks like this type of situation!
The trick in these situations is to see if going down to file versions solves the problem
