export .pdf with included layers

I have the free issue of Nanocad

I used to be able to export to pdf - Has this feature been taken out.

In other software packages I could export a pdf (with layers) this enabled the customer to be able to switch layers on and off using a pdf reader/viewer.

Is this facility available anywhere?

Not sure you understand

I can open Nancad drawing and work on it I can export to CREATE a .pdf file
If I have only 1 layer open it will save to .pdf what is on the screen

All fine

If I use something like Foxit reader to open the .pdf file then it will open ok and display

Before IF i opened ip a .pdf file that had been save with multiple layers opened then within the Foxit software there is a tab that says layers and this as the wording suggested used to show the layers with the facility to switch them on and off individually.

Really nice feature to be able to give to a customer

I'm just migrating from using Dassault Systems Draftsight

When I export a layered .pdf from Draftsight then the open in any reader with a layers tab, it will show and manage the layers.
I'm assuming that Nanocad would have to have some coding in order for this to take place !

Or indeed is this an option in a £ version?

Hello,
the reply of Robin.W (PDFCreator Team).

"Bonjour Patrick,
I am afraid this isn't possible with PDFCreator, as the documents get printed to a virtual printer in order to convert them to PDF and all information about layers is lost during this process.
Best regards
Robin"
