Dimensioning causes Fatal Error

Recently downloaded Nano 5 (Free download). It allows me to open and create files but as soon as I try to create a dimension I get a FATAL ERROR and the program closes. I am running WIndows 10 on my computer and have already set the compatibility to WIndows 8. Any suggestions greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.
