Another question I had was the installation as I had a bit of a hard time installing it, but I have a desktop and laptop where I installed the software. I just want to check it out, but I like have it on the laptop for when I'm elsewhere. I used the same license to install it on my desktop, will there be any problems with this? I'm the only one who uses the computers, but I like to change if I need to. I have more computers, but this should allow me to move around and take a look at the software. I can use it without connecting to the internet right? I ask because too many software packages want to be connected and this is not always the case.

I had problems downloading it, but they resolved as the download took more time than expected. I was looking for size of DL file, found none, so I just waited several hours.. I'm traveling by car and only have my Toshiba laptop .. I also prefer it on my deskbox & laptop. we get home in August.

I used to run AutoCad but gave up because of frequent crashes. NanoCad works great so far. No support from autodesk on older programs..

I played around with progeCad but I like this better.

Hi John. Thanks for the info. I did manage to install it on both without a problem. I'll be going on a trip for a bit so this is why I wanted it on my laptop, although what I have been looking for is a parametric modeler since those are a bit quickter for drawing small 3D parts that I would like to do, but now I got this to play with. I don't do much in cad and haven't touched one in years so it's like I'm learning all over again.
