I created a .375 cylinder through two 3d solids . I used the subtract tool to remove the cylinder from the 3d solids to create bolt holes. After I performed this operation the two solid joined to be one entity. How do I seperate them ?

Remember when you want to subtract one item from another the item you wanna be gone has to a little bit bigger, eks. a cylinder you want a hole in, make the cylinder and make another cylinder smaller in dim. and a little longer. put them together so the cylinder inside is longer in both ends. When you so subtract them: from: outside, to: inside - you will get a hole in your first cylinder.
