I can trace imported jpgs of floorplans, but it would be better if the software automatically converts / generates the image into an editable floorplan, 2D or 3D. Is that possible using NanoCAD?
I haven't found any software except RoomSketcher which does this. RoomSketcher does not allow exports in any format other than as basic images.* Surely it's easy enough to recognize walls and windows and doors and sinks and assuming the scale is entered somewhere, to attribute the correct dimensions. Users could then fine-tune the result. Is there a reason this feature is so hard to find?
*and PDF. I guess I should test if the PDFs they generate include enough data for NanoCAD to import them. PDFs often contain just flat basic images, no different for these purposes than a jpg.
