I have a 2D rectangle drawn in NanoCad which represents a virtual wind tunnel e.g. 1250 x 800 pixels = 12.5m x 8m. I have placed a 2D object near the bottom of the rectangle to simulate the object sitting near the bottom of the tunnel. I can select the object in NanoCad and export it using a Netload. I do not want to export the rectangle. However, when I export the object, the relative position to the rectangle is lost and the resulting shape file is pasted into the virtual wind tunnel application in the middle of the tunnel in the third party application.
Does anyone know how to send a relative position with the selection?
Thanks.

Hello,
may be the third party application always insert object in the middle? Try to chang UCS in nanocad befor export and then load to your application to check - is object placed to different place or in the middle of tunel again. If yes - probably you should add 4 points in the corners of the rectangle and export object and points.
