Drawing a polyline in top, front, <and related>… views, all I can draw is a horizontal line.
(Eureka!) Drawing a polyline in top SW Iso, <and related iso views> the line looks and behaves like the polyline I expect.
Attempting to trace an existing closed polyline while in an iso view is a very strange experience!
What have I done to my polylines?
How do I restore the polyline to normal/expected operation?
Thanks

I do not understand the question (a picture to explain the problem?) ...
But in general, the position of the UCS is decisive.
The polyline is blocked on its UCS, the line is not.
You have to turn the UCS to work with polylines
Best regards

To draw lines in the space instead of the plane you also can use 3D polyline.
