I turned grid on in Tools\Drafting settings\Snap and Grid (see attached). However, I can't see the grid. I have tried --
-- With and without "Adaptive grid".
-- Changing the background color of the drawing area (white, black, light grey).
-- Changing the grid color (currently black on white background).
-- Zooming in and out.
Regardless, I can't get the grid to display. However, if I turn on Snap and Grid at the bottom of the screen and draw a line, the cursor snaps to the invisible grid (every 10 units). (The largest dimension in my drawing is 125 units in the Y direction.)
Thanks,
Don C.

The "infinite option" works. I never would have found this. I wonder why this isn't included in the "Snap and Grid" setup.
My normal background color is white. However, when I change the grid color the background color changes to a very pale shade of the grid. For example, a dark blue grid gives a very pale blue background or a red grid gives a pale pink background. A black grid is the only one that doesn't have this effect. Normal?
Thanks.
