I have an industrial stair model and want to set up plan, elevation and section views with associated symbol annotation.
It can be set up manually but is it possible for the elevations, sections and details to be set up at the time of their annotative symbols?
Other CAD programs have this function (viewbase) but I use NanoCAD at home for my personal work.
Cheers,
David

Is there a viewbase command?

Seems that projectionview may be the function I was looking for but no idea how to use it. The help tutorial on this is also vague.
A step by step guide on this would be useful.

Maybe one of this'll help:
DRAWINGVIEW - creates 2D view from 3D object.
PROJECTIONVIEW - creates 2D projections from previously created 2D view.
SECTIONVIEW - creates 2D sections view from previously created 2D view with two specified cut points.
VIEWSECTION - creates 2D section view from 3D object or previously created 2D view.
Kinda guide about this commands you can find at: "Help" -> "3D Modeling and Visualisation" -> "3D Module" -> "2D Views"
Hope it'll be useful.
Best regards!

DRAWINGVIEW seems to be exactly what I was after! thank you very much for that Artemio mate.
Will have a play around with it and those other commands.
