Hi all,
I am new to nanosoft and need some help please.
I have a data point cloud that I have imported from other software and manipulated somewhat. I now have it positioned over an image for reference, but need to export it to Microsoft excel for reporting purposes.
The data point cloud is spread over multiple layers and comprises of between a few hundred and a few thousand points depending on the file.
Is there a simple way to export all the data to excel?
Can I export to a txt file for instance?
Cheers 😊

Hello David,
it is not possible to export points to Excel.
You can export points to the las, bin,xyz formats and then open these files in any text editor.
NPC_EXPORT command now is available in 3DScan: http://nanocad.com/page/n3DScan - you can try it free during one month.
Soon we will release new version of nanoCAD Plus - 8.5, same export will be available there.
