I can bet this has been asked before, however, I have been an AutoCAD user for a number of years where placing dimensions in paper space is simply a matter of scaling dimensions automatically to the scale of the viewport. Autocad deals with this quite seamlessly.
Correct me if I'm wrong, but It seems that I have to scale the viewport to a known scale (from menu), and then adjust my dimesions to the same scale manually in NanoCAD.
The problem with this is if I use a custom scale that isn't listed, it is impossible to place dimensions on the drawing at that scale that display as the correct size and if I don't use a very standard scale factor for the viewport, there is no gaurantee that a matching scale for the dimensions is available.
For example I can make my viewport scale 1:4 (or any custom scale), but when I try to scale my dimesions, 1:4 isn't available
Is this the case or am I missing something.
Other than this hickup it seems to be working like a dream!
Your expert advice is appreciated.
