Weird behavior of layers
Mika 16 Jun 2013
Just found nanoCAD, looks promising to me.
Tested it on electrical schematic drawing which has one page on one layer. Normally on other CAD systems I set only one layer visible and rest are set off to see one page. But nanoCAD (see the version from attached print screen) shows stuff also from layers set off. Here is same file opened into nanoCAD and DraftSight and both are set to show same layers, but output looks weird.

Hello,
Now I've tested with several files, none of them is behaving as I think they should. I can PM you one for check.

Hello,
checked your file - some objects of blocks are located on different layers, nanocad shows it even if block layer is hidden. Now it's fixed, in version 5.0 ( beta-version should be available in 2 weeks, release in September, it will also be free.. :-) ) you will seу the same behaviour as in AutoCAD.
Best regards,
Seva.

That's great! I was pleased to find a free CAD which supports LISP extensions. Keep up good work!
