3D Assembly models from part

Hi All,
I have downloaded an evaluation version of nanocad Pro and been able to carry out part modelling with no issues.
I have used Pro Engineer (Creo) and Inventor before where you solid model a part and save in separate file and then assembly them with contraints to bring them into your assembly model.
I am stuck on how to do this in nanocad Pro
Do I need nanocad mechanica to do this?
Any help would be appreciated. I am wanting to buy this software but want to make sure I am getting the correct module for what I want todo.
I want to do part and assembly modelling
Thanks
Darren

I am going to add to this question. I have now downloaded Nanocad Mechanica evaluation version, and been able to insert a library part. If I can create my own library I am guessing that I can just insert a solid model, just like i did the bolt part. I think I have made progress.
