I am using nanoCad 5 and am trying to open some .dwg files last modified by autoCad in 1997. Not sure exactly which version of autoCad.
No error is given, but nanoCad just hangs. Windows 10 shows it as not responding. I have to kill the program to close it.
I have tried multiple dwg files of the same period. All kill nanoCad in the same way.
AutoCad, and the autoCad dwg viewer, both have no problems with the files, so I know they are not corrupted in any way.
Is there a limit on which versions of dwg files nanoCad will open?
