Hey, whenever I select an object it gives me a popup with all of the possible selections, is there a way to disable the pop up and get it to automatically select the one that was highlighted. I can see why some may want this pop up but it slows down the process way to much for me.

You can switch off dialog, use View - Show selection dialog.
