Some notes about NanoCAD V5.0.2481.1466 - EVALUATION
  • In the properties dialog for a selected viewport, under "Misc", "Stardard Scale" is mispelled ( "Standart Scale")
  • The list of Standard scales in this dialog does not match the list of scales in the Measurement Scale dialog that is used to set the scale for dimensioning
    • This makes it difficult to choose a suitable scale for the viewport and then place correctly scaled dimensions
    • The list of scales should be the same, for example (1:4) in the propoerties dialog does not appear in the Measurement Scale dialog
    • Also (or alternatively), there should be an option to set a custom scale in the Measurement Scale dialog,
    • Also, after setting the Dimension scale it does not stay as the default, each time a new dimension is to be added in the viewport it reverts to 1:1. To get the correct dimension scale the dimension must be selected, then from the Dimension Scale dialog, choose the correct scale.
  • These problems existed in Ver 4.5, it would be good to see them fixed in 5.0.

Hello Geoff,

thank you for your comments.

I'll try to fix mispelling, it's quite easy for interface part, but it seems it's also mispelled inside scale module.

I sent your suggestions about Measurement and Dimension scales to developer of this part of nanoCAD, for the 5.0 ( we already have Release Candidate version ) not sure, but probably in 5.1 coming soon.

Best regards,

Seva.
