In April, 2023 I posted a comment about the right mouse button not operating correctly when in Command mode. I have checked my setting in Options and confirmed my selection of 'Mouse settings / Right Button Usage / Command Mode: [Sends 'Enter'].
I was looking forward to having this corrected in v.24 but am disappointed. This function seems so basic and should be fundamental.

I was told that the people who needed to know were advised. Why has it not been addressed?

Thank you for reaching out and sharing your feedback. I understand that you were looking forward to seeing the behavior of the right mouse button in Command mode adjusted in version 24 and that this was a high priority for you.

To provide some background, this functionality has worked in the same way for over ten years, and a large number of users have come to rely on and expect its current behavior. Changing it might create confusion for many users who are accustomed to how it currently operates.

That said, your input is valued, and we're constantly evaluating feedback to make our software as intuitive as possible. While a change may not be implemented immediately, please know that your feedback has been shared with our product development team, and they will keep it under consideration for future updates.

Thank you for your patience and for helping us improve our product!

I can't believe this.

Using the mouse right-click to send an 'Enter' is a fundamental use of the mouse, and has been a basic function of AutoCAD for decades. nanoCAD, for all intents and purposes, is a clone of AutoCAD. In fact, there is over 20 years difference between the two. Plus, when the program has the option to activate the right-click 'Enter' within it's coding, then it should function. Anyone who has experience with AutoCAD prior to moving over to nanoCAD would know of this function. and expect it.
Therefore, the coding should either be corrected to allow for the right-click 'Enter' option to work, or simply remove the option altogether.

Fun Fact: I suggest you check nanoCAD 5. This version has the similar mouse right-click options as v.24, and they function the way they are supposed to function, including right-click 'Enter'.
