Hi Guys,

I am new to 3D CAD, I have a minor amount of experience with 2D profile drawings, but I am trying to create a 3D section from a 2D cross section. Is this even possible? I was hoping it would be a simple, extrude into 3D plane and I'm done but it seems to grey out 3D extrude and I can't get it to select the sections I'm trying to extrude?

I have attached a section of what I am trying to extrude, only want it to lift off the page by 20-30mm just for a better. The dream would be to convert to a 3D render of a corner section but I am not holding out much hope of this!

Hello Daniel,
Hope this video will help you to get to know extruding: Simple 3D Modeling in nanoCAD Pro - Lesson 33 (youtube.com)
