I have used the free version of NanoCAD since 2020. It meets my needs for 2d. I recently got a new laptop and tried to load NanoCAD. I can never get through the registration process and get a serial number. When I go to my profile and look for licenses it says I have no licenses. In the past it has been very straight forward. Now not at all. Any suggestions?

Nanocad free is still free but licensed for a year.
You should go through the process of getting license.

I have gone through the process to register and get a license. Never successful!

You should try it with version freshly downloaded from https://nanocad.com/...s/nanocad-free/
It was changed not so long, so, you can't use no previous licences, no old version of programm.

Should I uninstall the old version and install the latest one again? But does it mean that my old license won't work?

Yes.
1. Total uninstal older version. (https://forum.nanoca...anocad-from-pc/)
2. Download new version (https://nanocad.com/...s/nanocad-free/)
3. Get new license in your private cabinet (If you did this not so far, then try it, if it's not working, then get new one)
4. Register your new version.

Nanocad Free is still free.
But new license is valid for a year. Old licenses deprecated.
After a year you should request for a new one, expected to be free too.
