I am trying to make a floor plan. I've set the units to Architectural and inches.

I make a 5 wide wall and add doors just fine

When I try to add a window it is too large. Changing the width from default 111 to 5 to match the walls leaves funny external lines.

Basic 25 long line. Upper dimension uses primary units of Arch and lower is decmal

Have you checked symbol scale?

Yeah, got it...
Seems like a bug, but I'm not sure.
However, can you, please, try to change "representation" from "normal" to "simple".
You can do it in "properties" panel after window selection.
Then window with width 5 will appears some better, hopefully.
