Hi
I`m using the free trial of v21.
I`m new to Nanocad and what I`m trying to achieve is for the Dim text to sit ON the Dim Line. I work on quite small drawings for engineering parts such as brackets etc. When I use the above option in the dim styles dialogue it seems to put the dimension quite a way above the line and not ON the line. I am zoomed in a lot as the lines are only 2 or 3 or so in length. Can I make the text sit lower in relation to the line as in Autocad ?

Hi.
When you call DIMSTYLE dialog -> modify -> Text
try not only the "Above", but also set "Offset from dim line".
It might be not 1, but also 0.01 for example.

Hi
Thanks for the reply - I opened a dwg that I created in Autocad and then deleted the drawing itself and started a new drawing in the same window and my Dims seem a lot better.
When I get chance I will check out any differences in the dim style dialogue.

Thanks again.
