I recently upgraded from v23 to v24. I exported my user interface settings using uiexport command. then in the new version used uiimport opening the saved file. It doesn't seem to have made any difference, as various tools I had put in the ribbon are still missing in v24

Hello Lee,
Are you talking about Multilingual beta version?

What language with did you install it?

Can you attache here you .zip file with user interface savings (file you get after uiexport)?

After UIEXPORT you should get UIConfigs.zip file.
You don't have to unzip it.
When UIIMPORT, then select your UIConfigs.zip as it is.
I tried to unzip and import saveduistate.cfg and got the same error.

Trouble is now my v22 license has expired I can't open it to export the UI configuration! v22 only created a .cfg file from the uiexport command. I tried zipping this file and renaming it but it still doesn't work. Surely there is a another way of dragging the UI configuration from v22 program files to v23? I don't want to waste a day or more putting everything how I want it in 23.

If it can't be done can I have my v22 license back please,

On the other hand you can manually zip your saveduistate.cfg file, name it UIConfigs.zip and import into platform with UIIMPORT.
