Any clues?
Just installed nanoCAD5.
I have tried to open multiple files, and all give this message: "Unknown Error.....restart Windows or contact Technical support"

You can use DWG-TrueView to convert or save it as an older DWG/DXF-File in your ACAD-Student-Version.
