Proxy Graphics message in Autocad
oscarhc 05 Oct 2019
Have been using nanoCAD 5 for a while and recently the message "Missing Application:NanoSPDS" is shown when opening drawings in Autocad. (see attached image)
Have no idea what a proxy object is, as all my drawings are simply 2d with no extra fancy stuff.
Could some one tell what NanoSPDS is, or what is it for, or if there is a way I could avoid that message ?
How or where can I find or identify those 20 proxy objects ?
My concern is that something important from my nanoCAD drawing is not been shown in Autocad; that for a reason unknown to me, became a proxy object.
TIA.
Regards, Oscar.

are there dimensions and notes in your drawing? Autocad doesn't recognize these objects from nanoCAD 5, they may look there as proxies.

You are right, the problem is with dimension lines. Downloaded nanoCAD 11 trial, saved the file and could open it with Autocad without proxy message. Client made dwg files comparison (nanoCAD 5 vs nanoCAD 11) and all differences were on dimension lines.
Thanks for the insight.
Oscar.
