I updated my computer to Windows 10 version 1809 last week, and since then NanoCAD has refused to start. It brings up an error box with the message from nCad.exe:
"Error: Some of application components are missing or corrupted. Reinstall application to fix this problem."

I've tried reinstalling over the top, removing and reinstalling, and repairing, all with rebooting in between, and nothing has fixed it.

Is there anything else I should try?

I uninstalled... downloaded an installaed the file NCE50(2007).exe and applied licence.

BUT I get Build 2000 again on the About window. :o

So I can't get the last version

What can I do?

use nanoCAD Plus.
nanoCAD 5 was released before Windows 10, so we cannot guarantee full compatibility.

Hello,

I get the same error message after latest windows 10 update. Reinstall didn't help. Anyone knows how to solve this problem?

Nanocad 5.0
Windows 10 x64, 1909 (Build 18363.1379)

Thanks,
Vic

In Win10, there is a Win 7 mode compatible ? (right clic on NC 5.0 starter)

Yes I already tried that, even windows 8, and still doesn't work.

Strange that it worked on earlier win 10 version but doesn't work on latest 1909.
