Not able to access model drawing on Layout

I'm not able to view my drawing when I go to layout, there's no viewpoint and I don't know where to change it from paper to space to model space; there's a small icon to the bottom right however when I click on icon "switch to model space" it does not switch to model space. Is it possible there's a glitch with the software or am I missing something?

Hello Sara,
nanoCAD doesn't create viewports automatically as Autocad.
You can create viewport in Paper space by two ways:
1 - in the Model space - menu View - ViewPorts - Rectangular or Polygonal. Specify the boundaries, then select layout to create VP there.
2 - in the Paper space - menu View - ViewPorts - select any viewport.
