Hi all

I had a complaint from my boss that my file sizes are very large. My DWG. are 5.6 MB or so and that's just 6 pages, as compared to Autocad files that are 2.6 MB and 11 pages. Then my PDFs are giant, 3.5MB, by the time you get 6 pages one pdf equals 18MB plus.

I have purged the files, flattened, and audited them.

Is there a setting that I can adjust?

Help!

try other PDF-printer, try batch plot.
The size of PDF-file does not depend on the number of pages. It depends on existing objects.

And you can send me your file and tell me what printer do you use.

I used both the PDF print included from Nanocad and PDF 995, I have also deleted everything I dare so objects are at a minimal.

I also have the same issue.
The same dwg file plotted on NanoCAD is 3 times the size compared to when I plot it on Autocad.
I use the Internal PDF Plotter.

If I can't reduce the file size of the PDF, I will have to go back to AutoCad
