How can I create a generic border that I can use for all of my drawings?

I want to have a border around all my drawings saying the date it was created, whats in it etc

nanoCAD doesn't have such objects. So you should create it manually, using fields.

If I understand your question, I believe you are looking for a title block template. You can do a web search for "free cad title block" and find some ready made templates. Pick one that matches your paper standard (ANSI, ISO, etc.).
