Hi, we really like Nanaocad and have pretty much been able to set it up as we Iike to use it except we have one problem which will prevent us from using it, which is the print to PDF facility.

We have a standard drawing template (dwt) for our practice and have been using this for years with both Autocad LT and Draftsight without any issues, this temple includes some disclaimers, the usual sort of things, do not scale, only use figured dimensions etc. However, when we try to print from Nanocad some of the text becomes jumbled and some disappears completely, which is clearly not helpful.

I'm not sure how to resolve this, we have added all the relevant SHX files to the Nanocad folder, but no difference.

I should say that in Paper Space the text looks fine its only when we preview it and print it that all goes wrong.

We have tried two PDF printers, Bullzip PDF printer (which we have used for years) and PDFill PDF Image Writer and the results are the same.

Any thoughts please.

I tried to email you using the support@nanocad.com email address and the email bounced back.

Do you have another address.

The version I am using is 5.0.2520.1471 Build 2000

thanks for the file.
This is a problem with Calibri.ttf font, and we are trying to fix it.
Now you can change this font to another, for example, Arial.ttf.

Thanks for the reply. If you are able to fix the problem that would be great as all of our documents use the Calibri font.

If not then we'll change as you suggest. I'll wait to hear from you.

Thank you.

Follow up with PDF printing issues - I'm using version 11 and I've found that when printing PDF; revision clouds (in paper space) are not being generated on PDF prints, but are being generated on real prints.
The revision clouds are on a common layer with the title block which is showing up on both prints (so that's not it). I suspect it might be considering the paper space revision cloud element to be "behind" the model space viewport similar to photo editing programs ... but if that were the case clouds shouldn't appear on either print.

Any thoughts? (refer attached screenshot)
