I didn't find a way to update text style attributes.

Say I have a reference containing a text attribute with a set style.
I edit the reference and change the attribute text style (in Properties tab/Text/Style).
I see the news style alright while in REFEDIT mode, but when saving and going back to model, the attribute isn't updated to the new text style.

Hello,
do you use nanoCAD 5?
Try to use REGEN command or re-insert your reference.

Hello Hellen,
I am using Nanocad 8 x64 Plus.
REGEN won't help.
By then I found the block editor in Tools/Edit block definition, and by the way what is the difference with the REFEDIT mode ?

The scaling issue I posted about is happening with the same file.
I could send it to you but didn't find the way to do so via the forum...

Let's precise. You have a file with external reference that contains block that contains attribute? What text style do you want to use - from the current file or from the reference file?

block editor in Tools/Edit block definition names BEDIT.
This command change definition of the block, it means that all changes are applied to all insertion of this block in the drawing.
REFEDIT command changes block insertion, it means that changes are applied only to selected insertion. Also REFEDIT is used for xref editing.

You can send us your files to support@nanocad.com.

Hi, I just sent you the file.
Both problems of scaling and block definition occur on this file.

I have to say that scale [1:2] is working on other files I created.

As for the block issue, it isn't an Xref (I assumed that Xrefs are not managed in Nanocad...), simply a block.
Now I am using a personal font style on the drawing (ISOCPEUR), but the blocks, that were copy-pasted from an external file, contain an attribute that is written in another font.
So in block edit I change the font to ISOCPEUR and I see it correctly, but after save & close BEDIT, the block isn't updated. REGEN and REGENOBJ won't help

Thanks for explanation.
I haven't received your file (maybe it is too big? Our Support Center can receive files less than 20MB), but I thing, I understood your problem.
You can change the style of attribute by several ways in nanoCAD Plus/Pro 8.
1. Use EATTEDIT command, its Text Options tab:
Attached File  EATTEDIT.bmp   508.87K   133 downloads
Changes applied to the current insertion of block.
2. BEDIT allows you to change block definition. After this command use ATTSYNC command to synchronize attributes in all block insertions with block definition.
