Good morning,
I am Massimo, from Rome, Italy, and I'm a newbie both for NanoCAD and for CAD software in general.
I am making some exercise with NanoCAD 5 to learn how to use this kind of programs. Currently I'm in trouble with a strange behavior of NanoCAD (please also refer to the picture attached).
In particular I have drawn the external rectangle providing, for the first corner and the other corner points, precise values in inches by keyboard (I'm working in architectural units).
Vice versa I have drawn the internal rectangle by mouse (without inputting precise coordinates by keyboard). Using the two vertical lines, I have been able to trim the internal rectangle, but I'm not able to trim the external rectangle.
Have you some suggestion, in order to understand where is my fault?
Many thanks
Massimo

Hello Massimo,
make sure that your internal rectangle has Z=0
